Circumstances change at their very whim, such was the case with the arrival of covid-19 and the ensuing radical changes to our accepted normalcies. Thankfully we live in a world of rapidly changing digital technologies culminating in the advent of social media, hence Facebook. The circumstances ensuing these mandated restrictions, the isolation, anxiety, wariness and ever mounting contortions of stress, needed a relief valve. The ability fo contact with many of my childhood friends was unquestionably a lifeline during this period of uncertainty. These friends were also the inspiration of this piece of Wood Art. The best antiques surely are old friends.
