This piece is a collaboration with my late partner Maureen, it is based on a particular floral from the movie Avatar. This piece was accepted entry into the juried 2010 NSDCC's Collaboration Exhibition, at the Mary E Black Gallery in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where it was awarded best in show.
