I started my woodturning career in 1996 and in 1998 I turned this 375 year old piece of Hornbeam. There are five axis changes required in creating this piece of wood art. I decided not to sell this precious piece, keeping it for the right moment and owner. In Sept of 2001 our son Robert married Jeanne, she herself was such a treasure that we decided that our precious piece should be a wedding gift for them.
